At Block level an investigator is posted in each block who collects village level data for the preparation of village directory. This data is collected annually an around 250 items relating to General public amenities such as education, health, water supply and sanitation and other facilities and amenities available/non available in each of the village. It is placed on department’s website for use of various stakeholders. Besides, he is responsible for collection/supervision of data on different subjects at the grassroots level.
